Magnolia Cattle Company beef products come from naturally-raised, very high percentage purebred Wagyu cattle. We never feed them growth hormones or feeds containing antibiotics or animal byproducts. Our animals are allowed to grow naturally in family groups on high quality grass pastures and we finish them here on the farm with our own rations of grains and forage; they never see a feedlot.
We take a long time to finish our beef animals, utilizing the Japanese finishing method of a slow, steady weight gain from birth. This ensures the carcasses will be highly marbled and produce finished beef that is amazingly tender, juicy and flavorful.
Not only is Magnolia Cattle Company Wagyu beef delicious, but Wagyu beef is twice as high in desirable monounsaturated fatty acids as the beef of any other breed of cattle. Monounsaturated fatty acids are credited with reducing cholesterol in humans and have been shown to reduce the risk of cancer.
